According to the latest Flower Mound water quality report, all of Flower Mound’s water is surface water, obtained from lakes and rivers. The majority of this water is taken from Lake Lewisville but can also come from the Elm Fork of the Trinity River and lakes Ray Roberts, Grapevine, Ray Hubbard, Tawakoni, and Chapman.
