While Euless’s tap water is generally considered safe to drink, there are a number of contaminants present that may not exceed federal guidelines. This can includes arsenic, nitrates, radium and other radioactive contamination, as well as TTHMs and other disinfectant byproducts from chlorine or chloramine treatment. In June 2022, Euless implemented water conservation measures due to a pipeline leak managed by the Trinity River Authority. Residents were advised to limit nonessential water use. The pipeline was repaired, and normal water usage resumed shortly thereafter.

While there is no data in the most recent Euless Water Quality report regarding hard water, DFW area water is considered moderately hard to hard.

Recent sampling conducted at Euless’s water treatment plants detected the presence of PFAS chemicals. The EPA is in the process of setting new MCL (maximum contaminant levels), which range from 4 to 10 parts per trillion. In numbers, that would be 0.00000000004 for PFOA and PFOS, individually to 0.0000000001 for PFNA, PFHxS, and HFPO-DA (GenX Chemicals). Yes, Euless adds fluoride to its water supply to help prevent tooth decay. The most recent water quality report showed an high level of 1.9 parts-per-million. The maximum contaminant level is 4 ppm.

Euless water is supplied by the Trinity River Authority (TRA) from Cedar Creek Lake and Richland Chambers Lake. These bodies of water feed into Lake Arlington in Tarrant County, where TRA acquires its water. Euless drinking water is also obtained by Euless Water Wells in Tarrant County, which tap into the Trinity Aquifer.
